When is walking away the right move on a used listing?

Walking away is the right move when the seller will not allow an inspection, will not share records you asked for, or changes material facts after you arrive.
It is also the right move when the evidence floor is too thin: no clear history access, unresolved safety concerns, or a price that only works if you ignore named risks.
A report that points to Pass is doing its job. The purchase decision still belongs to you; the point is that you do not have to guess.
Leave politely, keep your notes, and move to the next candidate with a clearer bar.
